In a customer service chat platform, customer start chat with Amazon and then the chat is routed to a specialized agent who is available to handle customer queries/ issues.
This does involve complex state management and routing of chats.
The system also handles multiple other use cases such as Bot integration, enables the customer to move away and rejoin the ongoing chat session etc.
Similarly, email routing system also involves a complex state management solution built on the Herd workflow framework to route the email to the appropriate agent.
All the systems/ services handle critical customer data and are classified as Red in Anvil.
